The Adams Rite 4590 Deadlatch Paddle offers an ergonomic alternative to traditional knob or lever handles. Simply push or pull the door in the direction it swings—no twisting required. This intuitive operation makes accessing latched doors feel as natural as opening unlocked ones. Built with an extruded aluminum paddle and zinc alloy escutcheons featuring a black finish, the 4590 delivers durability and clean aesthetics. The escutcheons are secured with special binder posts that resist torque loads from any direction, ensuring reliable performance in high-traffic environments. Compatible with Adams Rite 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series Deadlatches, as well as MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch and 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/Deadlatch systems. Available in four configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right. Units for 4300, 4500, and 4900 Series include a cam plug secured by hardened steel pins for rigid connection to the escutcheon. Comes individually boxed with all necessary mounting hardware for easy installation.
