The SFP-1/2CLMM15 is a 1/2" stop filler plate for the Securitron MM15 Magnalock. It fills or extends a door stop to give the lock a flat mounting surface.
A door stop in the way of a flat mount.
A magnetic lock needs a flat surface to mount against. If the door stop gets in the way, the lock has nothing even to sit on.
