Genesis EGC Series strobes are UL 1971-listed ceiling-mounted public-mode notification appliances for the hearing impaired. Designed for indoor use where ambient noise exceeds 105 dBA (87 dBA in Canada), in areas requiring hearing protection, and in public accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Synchronization prevents seizure triggers in photosensitive individuals. All units exceed UL synchronization requirements—within 10 milliseconds over two hours—when paired with compatible synchronization sources. High-performance LED technology delivers ultra-low device current consumption, enabling more devices per circuit, lower gauge wire requirements, longer wire runs, and fewer booster power supplies. Selectable output options of 15, 30, 75, or 115 cd accommodate various installation needs. High-efficiency optics maximize light distribution. LED devices integrate seamlessly with legacy Xenon strobes for flexible system upgrades. Includes room-side wiring plate for straightforward installation.
