The HES 9400 Series is a slim-line, surface-mounted electric strike engineered for outdoor environments and designed to work seamlessly with rim exit devices featuring a 1/2" Pullman latch. Its 5/8" thick stainless steel housing completely encloses all components, eliminating the need for frame cutting during installation. Simply position the strike on the frame surface, align it with the exit latchbolt, and secure it in place. This solution exceeds Grade 1 strength standards with impressive performance metrics: 1,500 lb static strength, 70 ft-lbs dynamic strength, and 1,000,000 cycle endurance rating. The included 1/8" spacer plate accommodates varying door gaps for flexible installation across different frame types. Field-selectable configuration allows you to choose between fail-secure or fail-safe operation and select either 12 or 24VDC power. The decorative cover conceals mounting hardware while delivering a clean, professional appearance.
