BSS BLU-50 4x4 Audio Signal Processor with BLU Link Rack Mount

The BSS BLU-50 is a half-rack width audio processor designed for professional commercial audio installations. It provides four analog inputs and four analog outputs with configurable signal processing, logic processing, and BLU Link digital audio networking capabilities.

Each analog input features software-configurable gain in 6dB steps up to +48dB per channel and per-channel phantom power (48V). Front panel LEDs provide real-time indication of phantom power status, signal presence, and clipping for each channel without requiring a PC.

The BLU-50 integrates with the Soundweb London ecosystem via its 48-channel BLU Link bus, which operates over standard Cat5e cabling up to 100m or extended via fiber media converters beyond 10km. The device supports multiple power options: included 12VDC supply, 12–48VDC via terminal block, or PoE+ via Ethernet for single-cable integration. Configuration and monitoring are managed through HiQnet Audio Architect software. The processor also includes 12 control inputs, six logic outputs, and RS-232 connectivity for third-party device integration. Up to 60 BLU Link compatible devices can operate on a single bus.
