The 2GIG FT1E-345 is a wireless combination flood and temperature sensor designed to protect homes from environmental hazards. This eSeries encrypted sensor monitors for both water intrusion via an external probe and ambient temperature extremes, transmitting alerts directly to compatible 2GIG eSeries security panels.
The sensor detects standing water and sends a wet alarm after three continuous minutes of detection, followed by a dry restore signal once water is no longer present. For temperature monitoring, it alerts when ambient conditions exceed 84°F (29°C) or fall below 42°F (6°C), helping prevent costly damage from freezing or heat-related issues.
Built with eSeries encrypted 345 MHz wireless transmission, the sensor reduces the risk of signal takeovers and maintains full supervision with status reports approximately every 70 minutes. The tamper-protected case triggers an alert if removed, and a CR2450 3V lithium battery provides up to five years of typical operation.
